
William Hawkes managed to break 2 club records in 100 IM and 100 free coming in first in his age group on free. George Berwick came first in 100 breast, almost 17 seconds ahead of the competition, setting a very competitive club record. Imogen Raistrick also swam a fantastic race and set a club record in 100 backstroke coming 3rd in her final! Maddie Barnes achieved her second Midland time in 100 breast coming 2nd in the final and improving her personal best by 3 seconds. Abbie Philips claimed her first Midland time in 100 fly and Cameron Chow claimed a Midland time in 100 free. Eleanor Lythgoe finished 6th in her 100 free final, but it was Abbie Philips who made a massive improvement of nearly 7 seconds. Harry Fowler swam superbly shaving off nearly 2 seconds and finishing 3rd in the final. Ben Welch failed to make the final but showed a very respectful improvement by bettering his old time by 7 seconds. Aiden Wright also added a one second personal best. In 100 breastroke Imogen Raistrick improved by a fantastic 9 seconds and Ella Turner swam well too, dropping 4 seconds. Jacob Allen improved most by 12 seconds but unfortunately it was not enough to make the final. Jacob also shaved nearly 3 seconds off in 100 back, but again it was only enough for 7th place. In 100 backstroke Lara Hawkes and Ella Coleman both comfortably made the final in which Lara swam superbly improving by nearly 6 seconds coming 2nd – just in front of Ella who also achieved a good two seconds personal best. Annabell Roberts also improved massively by 7 seconds! Wow! Mia Ellis swam superbly in 50 breast improving by a staggering 7 seconds. Katie Beardsmore also achieved a very good 4 seconds improvement. Alisha Tyers fought well in 100 fly final coming 5th and bettering her old time by 3 seconds. In the same event Thomas Lewis shaved off 1 second coming 5th, just in front of Cameron Chow.
