Just think what it will be like when the 400 or so houses are thrown up, of course the planners will say or have said that there will be no discernible effect on traffic, the council will quite naturally go along with that ( they haven’t the wit or nerve to object) and the developer will be rubbing his hands at all the profit they will screw out of the town, for yet another tawdry housing estate. To clear their conscience they will pay for a couple of benches for people to sit on whilst waiting for a break in the traffic so they can cross the road.
