Town make two new signings

Grantham Town have signed Nathan Dyer and Brad Abbott.

19-year-old Dyer joins the Gingerbreads from York City, while Abbott arrives from Boston United.

Dyer told the club’s website: “The game time was definitely the biggest factor for me, I think. “I really want to be playing as much as I can, and make sure that I get as much experience as I possibly can.”

Midfielder Abbott, 25, joins after a trial period, and he said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to be here at the club.

“It’s been a long process to get everything done but I really can’t wait to get going and play with the team, as well as meet the fans ahead of the new season.”
