Six bailed following Grantham disorder

The six men arrested in connection with an incident on Earlesfield Lane, on Friday evening, have been released on conditional bail pending further inquiries. 

Police, some of them armed, were called to the area near Hollis Road, at just after 5 pm to deal with an incident of disorder. Multiple accounts came from members of the public who reported seeing a number of men with weapons.

The incident was primarily on Earlesfield Lane.

Police are also investigating a connected report of a road traffic collision.

A number of weapons were recovered, including two machetes, two air weapons, a hammer and a crow bar.
