We used to have a perfectly good public house called The Sir Issac Newton at the corner of Springfield road and Harlaxton road just opposite Grantham Road Services yard.
Now a throw up KFC junk food joint, which will no doubt disappear very quickly once the profits drop, I have never know a town with so many junk food outlets, doesn’t anyone cook proper food anymore? All we seem to have are pizza outlets, burger outlets and chicken outlets most of which is based on American rubbish
Ever eaten East Coast American food? fantastic mix of meats & fish & crustations! Crabs of all different size & taste’ Scallop[ & Oysters! Great cuts of Beef’ Not like going to Satisfy House or Mr Pangs & then having a good meal in Hong Kong! Or eating in dont know what you have in the Town’ On London rd Neils cannot remember name of their restaurant? Good as it is’ La Plage in Madram Goa! ? You have good places to eat! not all rubbish! I am in Amsterdam & have been most of Summer’ Grantham has just as good eateries as here! Harry’s in Gonerby! Used to be good chip shops! Cecil Street the Portugese guy? if he still there!
