A 63-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of a firearms offence and threats to kill following an incident in Boston.
We were made aware at 2.38pm on Monday, 10 June of a report that a woman with a firearm had reportedly attended a property in the town’s South Terrace.
As part of the investigation, armed officers attended a property in Burton Road, Heckington, yesterday evening where they arrested the woman and man, both on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and making threats to kill.
They remain in police custody.
Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident in the South Terrace area of Boston at around 1pm yesterday (10 June) to contact them.
