Pick you own flowers near Grantham returns

The Picking Patch is reopened for the 2024 season on Wednesday 27th March

🎉 you can find them just off the A151 just outside Corby Glen, and can be found on Google Maps and if you use what3words the location is PETAL.ACTED.CARESSING

We planted some early season tulips last Autumn meaning we are open two weeks earlier than last year – after these tulips have been picked we might need to close for a few days before the next tulips are ready so please be sure to check we are open before you leave home. For those of you who have not been before but also a reminder to regular ‘pickers’ please see some useful information below:-

🌷The Picking Patch is ‘self-service’ and therefore unmanned

🌷 We will be open from ⏰ 9am to 6pm every day whilst there are flowers to pick

🌷 You can pay by 💷 cash using the cash box by the exit or by PayPal, there is a QR code you can scan to pay via your PayPal account. You will need the PayPal App on your phone beforehand. The QR code can also be found via the link in the bio on Instagram

🌷 The Picking Patch is a field and therefore there is uneven ground underfoot, so please wear suitable 🥾 footwear and take care whilst walking around.

🌷The site is also quite 🌬windy, even on a day where light winds are forecast, so wrap up warm

🌷There are no 🚻 toilet facilities on site so please ensure you are ‘comfortable’ before you arrive

🌷We provide secateurs ✂️ for you to borrow during your visit. Please return them to the basket provided when you leave but as these are sharp please take care when using them and do not let children use them without adult supervision

🌷£ Prices per stem can be found on notices around the field by the crops that are ready to pick and by the cash box. Throughout the Spring and Summer there will be several different types of flower 🌷🌻to pick but as they are seasonal they won’t all be available at once
