New addition for Dysart Park

Grantham Lions have installed a tailor-made bench in Dysart Park, to mark the club’s 50 years in Grantham.

It happened at a ceremony in the park yesterday morning.

Chairman Godfrey Mackinder said he hoped the public would enjoy using the new facility.

He said: “Thanks to everyone who donated including Couns Ray & Linda Wootten, Coun Graham Jeal, SKDC, members of Grantham Lions and Chris from Roll & Scroll.

“I would like the public to know that no money raised for ‘good causes’ was used but solely for this project.”
