New 9,000sq ft store to open at 10am on Wednesday

Marks & Spencer (M&S) today reveals full details of the launch of its latest Simply Food store, which will open at London Road Retail Park, Grantham, at 10am this Wednesday, November 26.

At 10am the Store Manager, Dean Law, and 55 new M&S employees will cut a ribbon to officially open the store and kick off the day.

Following the opening of the new 9,000 sq ft store, shoppers will be invited inside where they will find up to 3,500 food and drink lines, including the popular Christmas range, seasonal fruit and vegetables. The store will also feature a brand new 50-seat M&S Café, along with a bakery serving freshly baked speciality breads, pastries and cakes.

Dean Law, Store Manager at M&S Simply Food Grantham, said: “The whole team at M&S Simply Food Grantham is really looking forward to opening our doors at London Road Retail Park on Wednesday and showcasing what the new store has to offer.

“We hope that people from across the Grantham area will join us to see all the exciting products, along with our in-store Bakery and 50-seat Café, which will serve Fairtrade tea and coffee as well as sandwiches, cakes and a range of hot snacks.

“M&S Simply Food is a great addition to the retail park and I can’t wait to invite our customers to come and experience our renowned quality food range.”

The store will also offer shoppers the opportunity to ‘Shop Your Way’, allowing them to order either online or in-store from M&S’ full product range – including clothing – with free next day delivery when collecting in-store.

Customers will also be able to collect their Christmas food orders from the store between December 22 – 24 2014.

M&S Simply Food Grantham will be open between 8am and 8pm Monday –Saturday and 10.00am – 4pm on Sundays, with free parking available at the retail park.
