This Sunday, 14 July, a group of volunteers – all welcome! – are taking time this weekend to pick up a paintbrush, pressure washer or litter pick to get Woodnook spick and span in preparation for the start of the 2019-20 rugby season.
The day begins at 9:00am, but jobs will be available for as little or as much time as you can give all through the day until 4:00pm. It’s a great way to support Grantham’s local rugby club ahead of next season and help make Woodnook an even more special place for everyone in Grantham.
There’s a range of activities anyone interested in coming to support their local club and volunteer can get involved with.
From grass cutting and strimming (please bring your own mower/strimmer) to weeding around the Clubhouse, window cleaning, painting (please bring your own brushes and rollers!), as well as litter picking – ideal for younger volunteers and this tasks comes with sweetie rewards!
Any help will be gratefully received and volunteers will be rewarded with a lunchtime barbecue!
