Mawer, Eric – The man behind Grantham’s building trade

ERIC Mawer was well known in the building industry, first as manager of Pattinsons, then of Arthur Syddalls.

For someone in that trade, he was always immaculately turned out.

He enjoyed dancing, walking and gardening and was a member of St John’s bowls club, based near his Walton Gardens home.
