A leading housing association which operates across Lincolnshire has been appointed to Homes England’s new £20bn procurement framework.
Longhurst Group, which owns and manages more than 5,000 homes across the county, including 941 in Lincoln and 555 in Boston, has been added to the new Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).
The DPS will make it easier for organisations such as Longhurst Group to access land owned by Homes England – the Government’s housing delivery agency.
The Group already has a large development presence in Lincolnshire, with developments such as Ellison Place in Lincoln, Boolean Fields in Waddington and Heron Park in Boston.
In a further boost to the Group’s ambitions to deliver 5,000 new homes by 2031, it’s been appointed to the DPS for both large and small sites, meaning it can bid on a broad range of opportunities.
Longhurst Group is joined on the list by major housebuilders, national and SME contractors as well as fellow housing associations.
