Long service at BMARCo

Vaughan Hardy said: This photograph shows the MD Derek Warne presenting 25 year service watches to Bob Stafford,Walter Smith,Dennis Roe,Tom Smith,Albert Woolley and George Bennett in October 1975.Also present is the Chairman of the 25 year club, Jack Peacock, who started his career at BM and stayed until his retirement 50 years later.
The first to receive watches for service in 1963 were directors L Birkigt and T Waddington and three employees who had been at the company from its first year in business, Harry Hardy(my father), Jimmy Howdle and Arthur Jackson.”
