How to get your booster
More than 440,000 boosters had been given by the NHS in Lincolnshire as of December 30, and there’s still lots of capacity for anyone not yet boosted to get theirs.
You can get your booster at a number of places:
The Meres in Grantham, some community pharmacies and similar locations, and the Mass Vaccination Centres at PRSA in Boston and the Lincolnshire Showground.
Just book online for one of these locations via the National Booking System or by calling 119.
The two Mass Vaccination Centres run appointments seven days a week, so you can fit your booster around other things. There is also some walk-in provision there although booking in the first instance is recommended.
GP practices are offering booster appointments locally and you can wait to be called by your GP for one of these. Please do not contact your GP surgery without having been contacted first.
There’s more information HERE from the NHS in Lincolnshire on your options to get your booster.
Not had your first or second?
There’s still time if you’re able to have your Covid vaccinations but haven’t done so yet.
You can book using all the same details above. Our NHS colleagues will be very happy to see you!
Keeping family safe
You can find out the latest provision for vaccinations of 12 to 15-year-olds HERE on the ‘grab a jab’ website for the NHS in Lincolnshire.
Dedicated walk-in sessions for vaccination for 12 to 15-year-olds were offered before Christmas at the Mass Vaccination Centres at the Lincolnshire Showground and at PRSA in Boston, and are continuing at some pop-up locations this week across the county.
