Hook, Arthur – Took American citizenship

 Arthur Hook (1890-1953)

GRANTHAM-born American left Grantham in 1912 to settle cross the pond.

He settled for a time at Ojai,  iater moving to Santa Barbara. California, where 1915.

He became a naturalised American 1918 and joined the U.S. Army, in the artillery.

He was a landscape gardener in and around Santa Barbara in civilian life.

He was buried with full military honours were given Mr. Hook at the funeral service in the Veterans’ Administration chapel, Bawtelle.
