What was achieved in December

Phase Three

• West side of site – completed steelwork assembly
• East side of site – Pier 6 blinding (base layer of weak concrete or sand)  / east abutment reinforcement fixing and shuttering to initial pour / Pier 5 temporary structure foundations and construction

What’s happening in January

Phase Three

• West side of site – install permanent and cantilever formwork / reinforce fixing on bridge deck
• East side of site – Pier 6 reinforcement / east abutment  concrete works / reinforcement to wingwall bases / Pier 5 reinforcement and temporary structure decking

Current/ongoing traffic restrictions and closures

• Lane restrictions around the B1174 Roundabout to facilitate the construction of the haul route and access into site
