Phase three is progressing well, with splinter islands at the development roundabout completed.
What was achieved in March
Phase Three
- West side of site – completed drainage to Pond B
- East side of side – completed splitter islands at development roundabout / completed hydroseeding at eastern side of project / install main steelwork to Pier 4 / begin finishing works to development roundabout area verges / began construction of working platforms for piling new elements of bridge / began white lining along the newly-built road
What’s happening in April
Phase Three
- East side of side – continue piling to the east abutment / construct Pier 5 piling platform / complete white lining to eastern side of site
Current/ongoing traffic restrictions and closures
- Lane Restrictions Around the B1174 Roundabout to facilitate the construction of the haul route and access into site
- Whalebone Lane closed
