A CLASS of Year Nine pupils at a Grantham school have been told to stay at home after being in close proximity with a classmate who has had a positive COVID-19 test result.
Now the King’s School lads have been told to stay at home under lockdown Until Thursday week, following advice from Regional Health Protection Team [Infection Prevention and Control].
They have been ordered to stay at home until Wednesday 10 December inclusive. They can return to school on Thursday 11 December, provided they have not developed any symptoms in that time.
The rest of the household doesn’t need to self-isolate as long as they do not have symptoms, but they must take extra care to follow the guidance on social distancing and hand washing and avoid contact with him at home.
