When I was a kid I lived around the corner in Albion Road, walked past Roberts shop a thousand times never gave it a second glance, Its strange how when I now visit Grantham I still do the same.

I believe it is now a place where pains in the feet are cured, once upon a time a former resident of that establishment was a pain in everyone’s neck……..perhaps the council aught to make it a shrine and then the believers may come to pay homage.

Ah now there’s a thing…….Coal powered the Industrial revolution.
I’m not saying we should use coal I think everybody understands the downside of that.
She was not against coal she was against those who dug it out of the ground, it became a battle of wills with the working man as always the looser

Notice how all Premiers have their photos taken in front of the fire place at number 10, the very same fireplaces that used to burn coal………..I’ll bet my last shilling that if the gas was to run out you would see a couple of flunkies from number 10 nipping off to buy a couple of bags of your finest smokeless.
