FOLLOWING the loss of her mother in law Sue Clements in 2012 and the recovery of her mother Shirley King from breast cancer in 2013, over the last three months Ruth Clements has been organising and taking all of the photographs for a charity naked calendar titled Bare to Care 2015.
This is the second calendar of this kind Ruth has done, the first being in 2011 which raised more than £2,500.
This time she is raising money for two charities Macmillan Cancer Support and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
The Bare to Care charity calendar which was featured earlier in the year is now complete with more than 80 ladies taking part and 13 business sponsors.
The launch night on Friday night raised £1,273.43 and that’s before it even went on public sale.
The finished calendar is now on sale to the public.
Ruth would like to thank all of the ladies who bravely bared all for the calendar, each of the business that sponsored the calendar, Michael Davis Printing, Karen at Atrium Grantham, Dominic Brister who will be providing entertainment on the launch evening,
She said: “A massive thank you goes to my husband Russell for believing in me and standing by me and our two sons while I have spent so many hours working on the calendar to hopefully make it a huge success.”
Calendars will be available from Jenny Wren Lingerie, Genes Barbershop, Unveiled by Leanne, The Crown and Anchor, Welby, and are hoping for a couple of pop-up stalls over the next few weeks.
They are also trying to organise a date with Asda Grantham.
