They put up a McDonalds on the site of Gainsborough Corner garage, around that area now you would no recognise all changed. The After Eight/ Stoke Rockford/Phoenix gone, both garages on the corner gone, Post Office gone, It’s now something of a hell hole from what I can gather, You ought to go back for a visit you really will get a shock by the changes that have taken place.
On the subject of McDonalds, I have never ever eaten the stuff, I am a strict vegetarian, I don’t eat meat, fish or chicken, I don’t drink, or smoke, don’t drink Coca Cola, don’t take sugar or eat any form of processed food.
I walk six miles per day, every day and have done so for years, I ride my bike (I look good in tight Lycra) 4 times per week for just over 15 miles,
