Friday 6 December-Sunday 8 December 2019, 10am-5pm

A Christmas Treats Food and Drink Fair at the Engine Yard shopping village this weekend offers the perfect opportunity to get preparations underway for the big day in the heart of the Vale of Belvoir.

Opening today (Friday 6 December), the three day fair is an opportunity to sample both local produce and the best seasonal food and to stock up the larder with traditional treats from local producers as well as sellers offering tasty rare and unusual world foods.

The event takes place in large marquees where professional chefs will be on hand at this event to provide recipe ideas, food demonstrations and tips and techniques.

Artisan stallholders will offer try-before-you-buy tastings of the succulent meats, game and charcuterie. There is an array of the finest cheeses while bakers and pastry chefs showcase perfect patisserie, cakes and puddings, all available to take home for the coming party season or to get delivered fresh ready for the Christmas and New Year Festivities or as hampers or a special treat to a friend or relative.

As well as the foodie delights on offer at the fair, the quality offer in the the Engine Yard offers the best of country living, fashion and shopping.

There’s also the opportunity to treat favourite small people with a visit to the magical Santa’s Grotto where they’ll meet Father Christmas (and a few friends!) and take away a special present. Each child can be accompanied by a maximum of two adults. More dates and times are now added and can be booked online in advance to avoid disappointment.
