Family cars in the 1960s

FAMILY cars form a queue up Somerby Hill for the Round Table Gala at RAF Spitalgate on Whit Sunday, 1968.
The jam stretched from the camp gates down to the town centre although many people decided to walk.
The camp by this time was home to WRAF recruits and the RAF Police.
