Remember these well; when I was nobbut a lad (mid 70’s) there was an excellent little model shop in that row at which I spent my hard earned pocket money.

Used to hang my nose on the window of Coxes motorcycle shop at the end. First saw the Bond Bug there, I think the price was around £650.00 expensive for a three wheeler. You could purchase a Holman Imp for less.

We seem all too ready to sweep away the old buildings that have stood and served the town for many years, in favour of the modern and faceless building that now stand in their place.I wonder how long the “new” will last, and indeed will they ever become the old.
