The attached photograph was given to me by Dennis Pridmore who used to be P E Teacher at the Old Boys Central School, Sandon Road .
It was taken in the early 1930s at the Methodist Church Rooms on Station Road, Corby and shows many Corby children dressed for a Social event or Play. What it was we do not know.

Don Rudkin was my wife’s father. Dorothy Rudkin her Aunt and she married Rowland Fisher.
Alfred(FRED) Adams also married into my wife’s as well.

What a great bloke Gordon’ he was so so interested in helping us out you know! Some bad bad ‘ teachers in my day there’ honest would be “banged up” now? Mr Pridmore was so so good & helpful & genuine! & I used to have different addresses every few months! usually villages around Grantham! Always @ Central though! Well except move day’s! What a real Legend was Mr Pridmore! Away from School as well!
