January 29, 2019 by Grantham Matters 2 Comments

A COLLISION between a Hillman and this Rover gives an excellent view of Avenue Road in 1959.

The driver of this precariously balanced Wolsey Hornet was unhurt following a collision on the corner of Welham Street and Avenue Road in 1959. In the background is Pidcock’s Maltings which was demolished in 1973.
