The A1 southbound in Rutland is closed between the B1081 (Great Casterton) and the A606 (Stamford) due to a broken down crane.
At around 13:12 Leicestershire Police closed the A1 southbound to allow themselves and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service to work safely at scene. National Highways service providers have been requested to attend due to a substantial diesel spillage from the crane.
