Connor Bartle has agreed to stay with The Gingerbreads for the 2019/20 season.
The left back joined The Gingerbreads back in February debuting in the win over Matlock Town at The Meres.
Paul Rawden “We knew when he joined us last season he was one we wanted for this season. He’s strong, he’s solid and armed with a great long throw. He missed a few games through injury and him being out made a difference.”
Connor added “It was a bit of a no brainer, Paul and Russ had already sold it to me that if I showed them what they wanted, then they’d want me going forward. The way the season ended was disappointing, but we got what we wanted, survival. I’ve been impressed with the signings already. Pre-season is going to be tough on us, but tough pre-seasons are required to ensure we’re ready for the season to start in August.”
