A pay and display car park in Grantham operated by South Kesteven District Council is to temporarily close for refurbishment.
Welham Street car park will close on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 27th-29th September and reopen on Saturday 30th September.
Season ticket holders can use any SKDC-operated pay and display car park on these three days, taking care to display their season ticket.
Council Leader Cllr Richard Cleaver said: “We apologise for any inconvenience this short closure may cause while we undertake pre-planned improvement work as part of our general works programme around the District.
“Although we are keen to keep disruption to a minimum, we have chosen to close our car park in the interests of public safety while this final phase of improvements takes place.
“However, there are several other SKDC car parks available nearby, which are convenient for the town centre.”
As well as Wharf Road multi-storey (260 spaces), other options are Guildhall Street (88 spaces), Watergate (100 spaces) and Conduit Lane (47 spaces).
