Allen, what great forethought you had to take these photo’s, they are brilliant! Same with a lot more that just “pops in” the odd shot or 7 haha! I lived in villages around Grantham but was there every day! including work! ‘ Summers’ John Lees! bit for Eache’s in the day’ & loads more cant remember!! ended up @ Perkins in Peto’boro’ But I see so much on here! & so so many folk I knew in the day! I just never ever took any photo’s & no family roots really in Grantham! just “twangs” my heart when I see some photo’s yer know! & wow! might not mean much too many but that shot of bottom of Dysart Rd brilliant! I left in 99′ never been back! I used too catch bus to Grantham @ 8 years old haha! I c’nt remember where I lived then! Ancaster! Colsterworth , Allington?? jeez all over? other places! I dunno? Knew em all in the Market! Daves Caravan’ Jeez & every Pub in the day! & nite! I must have been one of UKs first “sofa surfers” haha! but allost got home next day to Ma! & still like a “Gippo” at nearly 70′ but hey! allost in touch with GM ? has to be done! gotta check out Journal! see who we lost! Jeez thats hard! & they dont put funeral thingy’s on line ? do they! just “obituaries” & they sorta just short & sweet” so going Gm Journal ‘ How sad I know! but loads I knew on there! but many I missed because “kin Journal” where in UK I have a home’ local paper shows deaths! bit morbid I know but! Why wont Journal; do that??? So goin “Obituaries” Jeez’ dont let on to anyone will you please! haha!
