It’s the time of year again when you can plan how to enjoy your garden through spring and summer – so why not make it even easier with SKDC’s garden waste collection service?
SKDC can help by taking your garden waste away to save you the time and trouble of trips to the tip or messing up your car with bags of garden waste.
Fortnightly collections for the 2023/2024 Garden Waste Collection Service scheme will start on Monday 3 April, which means it is almost time to renew your service.
Last year over 31,000 residents joined the scheme, and they will shortly be contacted to remind them to take advantage of the service once more, which is also available to new members.
Customers can renew or register now, paying by card or direct debit at southkesteven.gov.uk/greenbin
SKDC’s Cabinet Member for Waste Services & Climate Change, Mark Whittington said: “It’s easy to join online or by phone and we are confident that the service represents great value for money and saves residents time and trips to their local recycling centre
“People continue to support this scheme in their thousands, and we hope that they will continue to be part of our green club in the future.”
A bin sticker and/or bin will be delivered in time for the start of the new collection year which begins on 3 April, so remember to put your sticker on your bin as soon as you receive it.
Don’t worry if you haven’t received it by 3 April as we will still empty your bin if you have paid to join or re-join the scheme.
How much is it ???????
