A couple of weeks ago I set off to watch the Jazz Festival in Dysart Park. Unfortunately I coudn’t find anywhere to park and had to give up.
This afternoon (yes I know I should have gone earlier) I went to vote in the Springfield by-election at Bethesda Hall. Well, thanks to Walton School, I had to give up on that too.
Unless I parked on double yellows, Kitty Briggs, Harlaxton Road, Rosemary Crescent were all full. Could hardly drive through it.
And whenever I go to see a friend At Martin Court, there is seldom room for visitors while neither Dudley Road nor St Catherine’s Road is very welcoming to stationery cars.
It’s brilliant on the G-Maps picture (ABOVE) , but this afternoon it was full length nose to tail parking. At least when the polling station was at the school, there was parking on the premises.
