How many times will you make a splash in 2020?
That’s the prize-winning challenge being set by Aqua Park Rutland which is creating a league table to see a King or Queen of the park crowned at the end of the season.
The attraction, which is returning to Oakham in May, has had many ‘regulars’ since it was launched in 2016.
The natural setting and challenging course of more than 40 inflatable obstacles has become a popular summer destination for families and thrill seekers around the region.
Staff at the site noticed that many visitors were returning the undertake the activities again and again and decided that their efforts and loyalty should recognised during the 2020 season.
Lucy James Aqua Park Rutland site manager said: “We decided to launch a league table this year to see how many times our customers take to the waters and at the end of the season we will be crowning the winner with the title of King or Queen of Aqua Park Rutland and presenting the top three challengers with a free season pass for the following year.
”In preparation for the park’s reopening on 23 May, it is launching its unlimited access season pass for 2020 which allows members to attend as many times as they like for just £30 per person.”

The park, which has an expanse of water measuring 100m by 80m, returns “bigger, better and wilder than before” with two new race courses which will put competitors to the test.
Early indications suggest that 2020 will be a great summer with a possible early heatwave.
Aqua Park Rutland is the ideal location to enjoy ‘messing around in the water’ whilst keeping safe.
All visitors are provided with wetsuits and the park benefits from the watchful eye of a 20-strong team including qualified lifeguards.
Aqua Park Group is recognised as an Approved Training Centre by the Royal Life Saving Society and helped formulate and has been awarded RLSS UK approved status.
Aqua Park Rutland will be open until 22 September.
