Brilliant photos! We don’t see many of Alma park. I didn’t start school there (my brother did) but I can certainly remember watching the kids playing in the play ground, a boy wearing a Davy Crocket hat sticks in my mind (wonder who that was and where he is now?). I must have been about three at the time. Remember the Nisson huts and air raid shelters? And why was it always sunny up there?
