This has been placed in the wrong location, original picture showing the top of Welby Street before it was demolished to make way for the Morrison’s carbuncle.

From a previous reply on another photo this was the top of Welby Street before being redeveloped into that carbuncle known as Morrison’s and the so called shopping centre
Welby st and Wharf road junction, anybody else remember the alsation which used to patrol the other side of those gates and would snarl and bare it’s fangs at anything or anybody who walked up Welby st ?
Lincoln and Davies builder’s yard on the right and plumbing shop was on left side of welby Street and wharf road
And yes I remember the alsation too
