BORN Rebekah Miranda Nicholson she is probably best known for being the wife of LCFC star Jamie Vardy, who is 31. The brunette is also known for her fiery online rants against social media trolls
Known as Becky to her mates, the outspoken mum-of-four has made a name for herself by regularly appearing on panel shows like Loose Women.
She spent her childhood moving from city to city and has lived in Norwich, Reading, and Oxford.
Her parents split up when she was 11, and after her mother remarried she rebelled.
The troubled teenager would get into trouble at school for fighting and drinking and was forced to leave the family home at just 16 – where she found herself working in bars and crashing on her friends’ sofas.
10 years before meeting Jamie Vardy, Rebekah was married to electrician Mark Godden. But the relationship lasted just six months, and she rebounded hard, going from one relationship to the next.
It was during this time that she became a mum for the first time aged 22, to daughter Megan.
After Godden, Rebekah started a six-year relationship with Luke Foster, a former player for Oxford United. They had one child together, a son named Taylor, before breaking up.
Then, while working as a party planner in 2014, Rebekah met Jamie Vardy.
After being hired to plan a birthday party for the Leicester City star, he apparently persisted in asking her out until she accepted – and the rest, as they say, is history.
Rebekah and Jamie tied the knot at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire in May 2016.
The pair took a step back from the party lifestyle after getting married.
They married soon after three-year-old Sofia was born and have since had baby Finlay.
Rebekah’s two other children complete the family unit, with Jamie adopting them as his own.
The pair lived with their four children in Melton Mowbray until they had to move when over-enthusiastic fans kept calling at the house. It was put on the market for £1.25million. They now lived in the Colsterworth area.
Despite turning down lucrative offers from reality shows in the past, Rebekah starred in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in 2017.
IVardy has made multiple appearances as a guest panellist and presenter on Loose Women and has also appeared on Good Morning Britain, Jeremy Vine and This Morning. In 2019, Vardy appeared in two episodes of Celebrity Gogglebox alongside husband.
She also lasted a week in 2021’s Dancing on Ice in 2021.[ partnered with Andy Buchanan.
Rebekah is a Family ambassadors to Barnardo’s and a patron of The Dorothy Goodman School in Leicestershire. She has supported Leicester-based homeless charity ‘Homelessness to Hope’ having officially opened The Hope Centre [17] and has supported the Jeans for Genes charity campaign.
Vardy supported the family of Alfie Evans, an infant boy from Liverpool with a then-undiagnosed neurodegenerative disorder, in their campaign to have him sent abroad for further treatment.
