Many Grantham College students have returned from various countries throughout Europe having gained valuable work experience in their chosen industries through the Erasmus scheme.
Travel and Tourism students have returned following a placement on the Mediterranean island of Malta, where they assisted in the day-to-day management of hotels in the resorts of Msida and Sliema.
Course tutor Renee Bellamy said the students “became independent” as a result of the experience.
Meanwhile, students on Hospitality and Catering courses at the college have expressed their delight having worked in various establishments in Valencia.
Student Emily Skerritt admitted she had never been abroad before the trip, but is glad she took part and wanted to encourage others to do the same.
She said: “I really enjoyed the full experience. You would regret not going if you had the chance.”
