Unexplained death in Grantham street

Police were called to a report of a collapsed man at Inner Street in Grantham at 00:38 this morning (Tuesday 20^th January).

The man, who was aged in his late 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment but was  later pronounced dead.

The cause of his death is currently being treated as unexplained by police and officers are investigating the circumstances.

A police cordon has been put in place while enquiries continue.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area around the time in case they have information that is relevant to the inquiry.
