TV funnyman Hal Cruttenden headlines Grantham comedy night

TV comedian comes to Grantham

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to Grantham Railway Social Club on Thursday September 24th for a great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is slightly camp, middle-class funnyman Hal Cruttenden. Having a background in professional acting he has made numerous TV appearances, including ‘Live at The Apollo’, ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’, ‘The Royal Variety Performance’, ‘The Rob Brydon Show’, ‘Let’s Dance for Comic Relief’, ‘Would I Lie To You’, ‘Sunday Night at the Palladium’, ‘Mock The Week’, ‘The Great British Bake Off – Extra Slice’, ‘Celebrity Squares’, and Pointless Celebrities. With his ability to mix the personal, the surreal, the ridiculous and the political he delivers an energetic and absorbing performance.

Opening the night will be plummy, funny and firey, Diane Spencer, an award-winning comedian with a rapidly growing YouTube channel of over 10K subscribers and 1 million views. She has performed worldwide including The Laugh Factory and world famous Improv (LA), received critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe festival and appeared on several TV programmes including Red Light Comedy Live from Amsterdam.

Completing the line-up is Norwegian comedian Thor Stenhaug who has built a strong online following, headlined top comedy clubs across the country and opened for some of the UK’s most famous comedians, including Fern Brady, Josh Widdecombe, Larry Dean and Jack Dee and has been shortlisted for British Comedian of the Year – despite not being British (wonder what happened there).
