 Timothy Rowland Hercock, who was managing director of Grantham-based retread manufacturer Vacu-Lug, since 2002, has died recently. “Tim leaves his wife, Sara and son Ned. Summing up the feelings of many colleagues, John Chatfeild-Roberts, High Sheriff of Leicestershire 2024-25 wrote: “Deeply saddened to learn of Tim’s sudden death. High Sheriff in 2019-20, he was a glass half-full man, seriously competent and widely loved. “An absolute tragedy. Rest in Peace.” A memorial service for Mr Hercock will be held on Thursday, August 29, at St Mary’s Church, Melton Mowbray, at 2.30pm. Parking will be made available for those wishing to attend. His family have requested no flowers but welcome donations to The Matt Hampson Foundation or the Air Ambulance Service if anyone wishes to do so. |
