A new information and advice hub is available to all Lincolnshire residents to improve their housing.

Whether it’s maintenance, heating, insulation, home adaptations or finding a trusted trader – it’s all available on the Good Home Lincs pages of the Connect To Support Lincolnshire website.

There’s also a virtual house and a new Healthy Home Assessment tool which can help you identify common household hazards, potential home improvements, or repairs. This guided assessment provides information and suggestions to help you remain safer and healthier at home.

Cllr Wendy Bowkett, executive councillor for adult care and community wellbeing at the county council, said:

“Good Home Lincs provides information, advice, and support to keep you safe, warm and well at home- regardless of whether you own your home, rent it or are in social housing. There is information from lots of different organisations all in one place, and it’s clear who you can get additional help from if you need to.

“The web pages and the assessment tool are available to everyone and have been put together in partnership with other organisations across the county. The partnership’s casework team will also work with some people in our communities who need extra support and have been referred by another professional.”

Lincolnshire County Council has been working with district councils and other partners across the county and the Centre for Ageing Better to create the new resources. The Good Home Lincs hub can be found at lincolnshire.connecttosupport.org/good-home-lincs.
