I don’t normally like to complain about the bus service from Lincoln to Grantham, I’m grateful that we have a bus that runs on Sundays and bank holidays
But, last Thursday week, the Bus either mistakenly, or dare I say it deliberately, missed a chunk of the Manor Estate while heading into Grantham.
I know this because I was waiting at the stop and saw the driver head down Rushcliffe and miss my stop completely.
I think the driver realised their mistake as they paused at the end of the road, but that wouldn’t have given me enough time to trot over and get on!
I contacted stagecoach and after a few exchanges of emails, they have told me that they will not reimburse my taxi fare into town.
I can understand that if this was due to an unforeseen circumstance, but this was a mistake by their driver and I feel that the least they could do , would be to reimburse me.
Has anybody else had an issue like this? I’d be interested to hear if you manage to do anything about it.
