Today (Friday 4th December) Rector of St Wulframs Church, Stuart Cradduck, signed an initial one-year lease on part of Grantham House from the National Trust.
The move is a move forward with resourcing the church to be better equipped to grow as a community of faith with everyone in the heart of Grantham.
A spokesman said: “We are very grateful to Ian Cooper (General Manager) and Rachel Walker (Estates Manager) for their work in enabling this to happen and are enormously thankful for the generosity they have shown us in backing our vision for the site and the generous lease arrangement.”
Alongside this, the church has been awarded generous grants for work on this site over the next 12 months by The Allchurches Trust and The Evan Cornish Grassroots Fund.
This funding will allow us to appoint a Project Co-ordinator for the site and details of this new post can be found here.
Over the next few weeks, they will be explaining in more detail the activities and projects which will be launched on this site and welcome any questions you may have.
