Recent house sale enquiry data released by We Buy Any Home reveals property sale trends over the pandemic and last four years
Lincolnshire Property Market Trends 2018-2021
Overall, the county of Lincolnshire has seen a 5.5% increase in house sale inquiries in the last year (Jan-May 2020 vs Jan-May 2021). Since 2018, enquiries in Lincolnshire have also seen a similar pattern, with a slightly lower 2.9% increase in homeowners looking to sell their home.

- The England locations seeing the biggest increase in house sale enquiries since 2020 are Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire (up 1100%), followed by Cambridge, Cambridgeshire (up 375%) and Broxtowe, Nottinghamshire in third (up 309%). Following Ribble Valley with the highest decrease of 53%, the areas experiencing the next most notable decrease in homeowners wanting to sell were South Hams, Devon (-50%) and Gedling, Nottinghamshire (-46%).
Overall, the top reason homeowners in England cited when making an inquiry was due to a desire to
upsize to a larger home (18% of enquiries). The second most likely reason was the sale of a second
home (16%) which suggests Brits have had to focus on cutting back on unnecessary costs.
Retirement accounted for 9% of enquiries.
