So who’s not sticking to the battery disposal rules then?

In line with SKDC policy, I attached a clear plastic bag containing used batteries to the lid of my black bin.

During the emptying of the bin the operative pulled the bag from the bin causing the used batteries to scatter over the road, he then picked up a few and threw them in the back of the lorry! leaving the rest on the road.

I asked if he was going to pick up the rest, but he ignored me.

I have informed SKDC what happened and informed them I would not be responsible for any damage to vehicles caused by the scattered batteries.

Is this the kind of service we can expect from our local council?
