Summer is hotting up with a whole host of holiday time activities planned by South Kesteven District Council.
If you’re on the hunt for fun activities to keep youngsters entertained over the school summer holidays, why not try Animal Club at Grantham’s Guildhall Arts Centre?
The mission is to amaze, enthuse and educate about the animal kingdom.
Children can handle animals including a leopard gecko, Pac-Man frog, millipede, guinea pig, giant African land snail, tiger land snail and tortoise during the sessions on Friday 22nd August in the centre’s ballroom.
A kite-making workshop takes place in the centre’s Newton Room on Wednesday 6th August.
Children can get into the groove the ballroom on Monday 18th August at Disco Toddlers with a ‘Beach Party’ theme.

An All The Fun of The Circus guided walk is a family event taking place in Stamford on both Wednesday 6th and 13th August with Stamford Sights and Secrets Tours. Join a travelling circus and make history fun with activities and secret stories on this 45-60 minute circus-themed tour.
A Summer Kite Making Workshop takes place at the Arts Centre on Thursday 7th August.
Get ready for the new term by creating pen pots, crowns and decorating paper diary covers at a Back To School Craft Morning at the centre on Friday 15th August. To book any of these events go to Stamford Arts Centre
Nature Makers takes place at Bourne Corn Exchange on Thursday 28th Nature Makers – Bourne and on Saturday 30th August at Deepings Community Library and Riverside Park August Nature Makers – Market Deeping. Join in for a free, fun-filled family day of nature-themed crafts and activities.
Meanwhile, Inspire+ is hosting Holiday Food and Activities (HAF) Camps in Bourne, Deepings, Grantham, Spalding, and Stamford. Camps offer a wide range of activities, from sports and games to cooking, arts & crafts, team building, and nutritional workshops. Head to Holiday Camps – Inspire+
