Access Lincoln has teamed up with Love to Ride to offer a fun cycling challenge during June – Bike Month.
Bike Month is about getting people to go out on their bikes, anywhere, any time. And by logging the ride online at www.lovetoride.net/lincolnshire, cyclists can be in with a chance of winning some great prizes, including a £500 voucher for a brand new bike, and a £500 donation to their chosen community coronavirus support initiative.
You don’t need to be an elite cyclist already to take part, anyone can join the challenge. Simply register online and set yourself goals for Bike Month.
You can take part in the challenge as an individual, or as a group with friends, family, your bike club or your colleagues.
Alison Mackfall, project coordinator for Access Lincoln, said:
“If you’ve been enjoying getting out on your bike more over the past couple of months, get logging those rides online and see what prizes you could win this Bike Month.
“With us all having to spend time apart, taking part in the Bike Month challenge as a team with our cycling club, or work colleagues, or our friends and family can really help us feel like we’re all together, even when we’re not.
“Your goals could be to ride 50 miles over the month, or to burn off the equivalent of 30 beers, or to get everyone in your organisation to go for a least one bike ride – there are loads of suggestions for great goals on the Love to Ride website.”
