Samuel Repton will be raising money this weekend at Dysart Park’s Annual Family Fun Day.
All money raised will go to Ward E39 at QMC which is where his friend Charlie is receiving his treatment.
Samuel who is 13 and attends the Priory Ruskin Academy where Charlie also goes, will be hosting a ‘Stand the Bottle up’ game, where you will be challenged to stand the bottle up using a rod and hoop, adults will get one minute and children two minutes.
If you are successful your name will be entered a hat to win £20 cash.
The Priory Academy have been busy fundraising over the past few months and this inspired Sam with the idea to host a stall at the Dysart Park Fun Day to help raise money for the children’s cancer ward.
Mrs Jallow from The Priory Academy said ‘ we were delighted to hear what Sam is doing and it really is lovely to see fellow pupils coming up with their own ideas and helping to raise money for the children’s cancer ward that is looking after Charlie’.
Please go along and support Sam, he will be located at the rear of the blue Yorkshire Bank tent in the middle of the park with his stand and also a donations bucket – all donations to this worthwhile cause would also be greatly received, and Sam would like to thank in advance those who come to support him with his efforts.
