A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital following a collision on Trent Road.
He was riding his bike when he was involved in a collision with a Ford Fiesta just after 4.30pm yesterday, Tuesday, February 4.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene near the South Kesteven Football Stadium.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “A 14-year-old boy who was on a bike was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.”
A person claiming to be the boy’s mum has responded to well-wishers on Facebook.
She wrote: “We were all, including his little sister, close family and friends, shaken up. Not nice to see – my worst nightmare actually.
“At least he’s fine. Nursing a big lump and pulled ligaments but my baby is ok, so I’m blessed.”
