Queenie Alice Smith (née Winterton) passed away at home in Grantham on the 12th August 2026, aged 78 years.
She will be much missed by her husband Geoff, son Andrew, daughters-in-law Vicki and Kim, sister Margaret, grandsons Patrick and Francis, and Kirsty and Craig, along with all of her family and friends. Her eldest son, Adrian, died in 2025.
The funeral will be held at Grantham Crematorium on Tuesday 8th September at 9.30am, followed by a wake at the Royal Queen in Grantham. All who knew Queenie are welcome to attend.
Immediate family flowers only please. Donations may be made in Queenie’s memory to MacMillan Cancer Support and St Barnabas Hospice at the service or via Co-Op Funeral Care.
